Trump admin slashes 3.4 million acres of protected habitat for northern spotted owl
As the Trump administration’s time comes to a close, the Department of the Interior gave a last minute gift to the timber industry, taking away more than 3.4 million acres of protected land from the Northern Spotted Owl and subsequently opening the area to logging.
