Yes. Bay City News Foundation, owner of The Mendocino Voice, is a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, Federal Tax ID #83-0654488. Gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Is my donation secure?
Yes. Your information does not go beyond The Mendocino Voice. Donations are securely processed through Stripe. If you have any issues, please contact kat@mendovoice.com.
Will I get a receipt for tax purposes?
Yes. We’ll send a receipt to the email address you provide when donating. The receipt will include your donation details, such as the date and amount. We can also snail mail this to you upon request.
