High winds, warm temperatures, and low humidity plagued much of California for the past 48 hours. However, August Complex containment lines held and the fire remains 93% contained.

The largest fire in the state’s history is now almost completely contained. As firefighters mop up, resources are being sent off to other large fires and Mendo County plans two events to assist those impacted by the complex.
