UKIAH, CA., 10/9/26 — An off-duty Ukiah police officer driving a city-issued take-home vehicle collided with a pedestrian on state Route 29 in Lake County early Thursday, according to a statement released by the city of Ukiah.
The officer was driving home from a shift. The collision was reported at 4:02 a.m., the statement said. The California Highway Patrol responded, and the officer stayed at the scene.
