Judge Ann Moorman ordered the sentencing be rescheduled for an undecided future date, and the order she filed with the court did not say why.
One in three Ukiah police were accused of official misconduct or criminal activity in court records over an 18-month period from December 2020 to May 2022. There may be additional unidentified cases.
Murray is now a felon prohibited from owning or possessing firearms, but will not be required to register as a sex-offender — despite accusations of sexual assault from three different women, including a former detective.
Waidelich’s badge and service weapon were confiscated earlier this week, according to city officials.
Sheriff Matt Kendall clarified Thursday morning that Waidelich is currently under investigation for new allegations unrelated to MCSO’s previous domestic violence investigation in 2015.
