MENDOCINO CO., 9/25/25 — The Mendocino County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday indicated an intent to craft regulations to limit the sale of nitrous oxide in the county.
The board passed a non-binding resolution that will later be developed into an ordinance with regulations about nitrous oxide, also known as “whippets.” Supervisor Madeline Cline and Dr. Jenine Miller, Mendocino County’s health services director, will be drafting the ordinance.
