The “listening sessions” will take place in Caspar, Ukiah, Redwood Valley, Willits, Boonville, Round Valley, and Leggett.
In rural counties, it’s easy to end up on your own when disaster strikes. Organizing localized emergency response has become a priority.
CERT members learn critical skills that can be useful to you and your neighbors in the wake of major disasters like wildfires, earthquakes and tsunamis.
The county will be establishing pre-defined evacuation zones for future emergencies.
