California is sending automatic replacements to 12 counties after the widespread outages and storm damage.
You can apply for replacement benefits until March 4, 2024.
SNAP\CalFresh recipients can use their benefits to purchase hot food through the end of the month, and households not currently receiving food benefits may be eligible for up to $939 in one-time disaster benefits.
The automatic replacements include Mendocino and 27 other counties.
At the Fort Bragg and Mendocino stores, the state’s first stores in the new program, CalFresh users can get up to $60 each month of California produce reimbursed.
