UKIAH, CA., 6/27/25 – A woman was arrested in Ukiah on Thursday for allegedly driving a SUV reported stolen in Santa Rosa, the police said.  

According to the Ukiah Police Department, Flock Safety license plate reader cameras picked up a Nissan Xterra SUV driving around Ukiah Thursday night around 10:54 p.m. The Nissan’s license plate matched a vehicle reported stolen by the Santa Rosa Police Department. 

Flock is a series of 14 license plate reading cameras that the department operates in the city to solve crimes.   

Officers pulled the SUV over after spotting it in the 500 block of Ford Street. Jessica Bell, a 36-year-old resident of Ukiah, was driving, police said.  

Bell was arrested and booked into the Mendocino County Jail on suspicion of vehicle theft.
