MENDOCINO CO., 9/30/26 – Leadership Mendocino, a countywide leadership program that has trained local leaders for over three decades, will return in 2027 under the stewardship of the Community Foundation of Mendocino County.

Applications for the 2027 cohort open Monday, Oct. 5, and will be accepted through Nov. 30. The program runs from February through October 2027, with sessions held one Friday a month. Tuition is $2,500 with a limited number of scholarships available.

About 30 participants will take part in immersive experiences across Mendocino County intended to deepen their understanding of local communities, build their skills and connect them with other leaders. The program draws business owners, nonprofit professionals, public sector employees and community members.

“We’re thrilled to announce that Leadership Mendocino is returning in 2027,” the Community Foundation said in its announcement.

Graduates of the program will join a network of more than 800 alumni who, according to the foundation, continue to strengthen their communities through service, innovation and civic engagement.
