SAUSALITO, CA., 8/13/2026 — A Ukiah man was arrested Thursday morning after a search in Sausalito that prompted a shelter-in-place order, police said.
On Thursday morning, a Marin County sheriff’s deputy stopped a man driving a vehicle on U.S. Highway 101. The man fled from the deputy by driving the wrong way on the freeway, before abandoning his vehicle near Rodeo Avenue and fleeing into the Sausalito hillside neighborhood.
