This article will be updated as conditions change. Drive safe and when there are flood waters, “turn around, don’t drown.”

You cannot use Eureka Hill Road and Mountain View Road as alternate routes around the flooding on Highway 1 in Point Arena (to get to Manchester.) Not sure where you got that information from, and why you deleted a previous comment to that effect under this post.
We removed it, thank you. I think we had Fish Rock on the brain. Bad road journalism! Thank you for calling us out!
We saw your email and other comment, thanks Karen!
“Motorists can use Eureka Hill Road and Mountain View Road as alternate routes”
No, they cannot, since those roads do not intersect. Eureka Hill dead-ends at a locked gate.
