MENDOCINO CO., 2/27/26 – The Mendocino County Fish and Game Commission will begin accepting applications March 1 for its Fish and Wildlife Propagation Fund grants for fiscal year 2025-26. 

The fund, supported by fish and wildlife–related fines, provides money for projects that protect, conserve or enhance fish and wildlife resources in Mendocino County under California law. 

Eligible activities include habitat restoration, wildlife rehabilitation, public education programs, hatchery operations and scientific research.  

Applications must include a project budget, timeline, maps or photos and at least one letter of support. The deadline to apply is 4 p.m. Friday, April 3. 

The commission did not specify the total amount of funding available for this grant cycle.
