SANTA CLARA, CA., 8/8/25 – The San Francisco 49ers play their first preseason game of the year on Saturday when they host the Denver Broncos at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.

The game kicks off at 5:30 p.m. and is the first of three preseason games the 49ers will play before their National Football League regular season starts Sept. 7.

The 49ers will look to improve on their 6-11 record from last season when the team was plagued by injuries.

The team earlier this week held an event to celebrate the completion of a two-year, $200 million renovation project at Levi’s Stadium, which has two brand-new 4K video boards and a newly remodeled team store, among other amenities.

Levi’s Stadium will be hosting the Super Bowl on Feb. 8, 2026, at the end of the season and will also host FIFA World Cup soccer matches starting in June, making it the first venue in global history to host the Super Bowl and World Cup in the same year, according to the 49ers.

More information about Saturday’s game, including for tickets and options for getting to and from the stadium, can be found at https://www.levisstadium.com/event/denver-broncos-vs-san-francisco-49ers/.
