MENDOCINO CO., 4/25/25 – The California Highway Patrol issued a missing person Silver Alert on Thursday for an elderly man who was last seen in Gualala.
Clifford Souza, 74, is 6 feet tall, 220 pounds, with gray hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark colored shirt or jacket and tan pants around 11 a.m. Thursday on Old Stage Road in Gualala.
Souza is believed to be driving a gray 2021 Ford Ranger pickup truck.
According to the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office, Souza is a Gualala resident. He planned to drive to Martinez and return to Gualala on Thursday night, but did not return.
The alert is for Mendocino, Marin, Sonoma, and Napa counties. Anyone who sees Souza or who has information helpful to this Silver Alert should please call 911 or the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office at 707-463-4086 (option 1).
