UKIAH, CA., 9/4/26 — The Ukiah branch of the Mendocino County Library hosts an art walk opening today and Friday, Oct. 2, both from 5-7 p.m. The library features a mixed-media and painting show, “People and Places,” by local artists and longtime friends Cottie Morrison and Janet Rosen. The artists create portraits that interact with the interiors and landscapes that surround them.
Today, harpist Suni Robin provides live music, and the library will present a program on portraiture and landscape painting, using a multimedia approach. During both openings, attendees can shop at the Ukiah Valley Friends of the Library book sale.
The exhibit runs until Oct. 29. The event is at the Ukiah Library, 105 N. Main St., Ukiah, 5-7 p.m. For more information, call 707-463-4490.
