UKIAH, CA., 10/31/24 – A motorcyclist died in a collision with a vehicle in Ukiah on Tuesday afternoon.Â
The Ukiah Police Department responded to the collision at 3:38 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of North State Avenue and Clara Avenue in downtown Ukiah. Â
Upon arrival, police found a Mini Cooper vehicle at the intersection. The vehicle had significant damage on the front end. Â
According to police, a motorcycle was on the road just north of the Mini Cooper. The motorcyclist was found lying in front of the motorcycle. Medical personnel confirmed the motorcyclist died from injuries caused by the collision. Â
The driver of the Mini Cooper, an 18-year-old woman from Ukiah, was transported to a hospital with minor injuries, police said. Â
The case remains under investigation. The Police Department asks anyone with information on the collision or surveillance video to call Officer Cowan at (707) 463-6262.Â
