MENDOCINO Co., 9/5/19 — The annual Roots of Motive Power historic train festival is coming up this weekend, which means it’s the best weekend of the year to check out — and ride — the restored trains in Willits, plus check out the Black Bart Gunfighters re-enactors, get free admission to the Mendocino County Museum, enjoy a BBQ, and try your hand at printing with a steam roller, always a popular activity.
