MENDOCINO CO., 1/22/19 — The man who died Friday in a crash on U.S. Route 101, north of Willits, has been identified as Michael Paul Andrus, 51, of Kelseyville. He died at the scene of the crash.

Andrus was driving south in his Mercedes Van on Jan. 18 when, for unknown reasons, Ramon Machado, 71 of Leggett, cross the double yellow line in his Dodge Ram and struck Andrus’s van. Machado was taken to Howard Memorial Hospital with major injuries.
