MENDOCINO Co., 7/24/18 — Mendocino County’s “cannabis unit,” will be hold a series of events to aid cannabis farmers in coming into compliance and finishing their paperwork, on July 31, and Aug. 1,6 and 7. The Cannabis Unit is charged with the processing of compliance paperwork and permitting, in the wake of various regulatory reshufflings. The events will be in two parts, with a help section and a presentation session.

The cannabis unit has planned four events to allow cultivators to complete application requirements and move permits forward. Each day will consist of two sessions. One will be open to allow applicants who need help with applications, have questions about the status of their permit and or would like to submit applications for administrative permits. The other will be a presentation by Chevon Holmes from the Department of Agriculture and Jesse Davis from Planning and Building Services to review new application documents and process.
