UKIAH, CA., 1/23/2017 — Two recent court proceedings have been delayed. The felony assault trial of Charles Reynolds, 32, was scheduled for today but has been postponed to an as-yet undeclared date. The preliminary hearing for Steven Ryan, 62, who is charged with murder, was originally scheduled for last week but is now due to take place on January 27.

Reynolds is charged with felony assault with a special allegation of inflicting great bodily injury to Kenneth Fisher, 29. Fisher died after Reynolds allegedly punched him once in the parking lot of Boomer’s bar in Laytonville on August 28, 2016. The trial was scheduled to take place on January 23 in the Mendocino County Superior Court in Ukiah, but has been postponed to a date that has not yet been announced. Reynolds is represented by Ukiah attorney Macci Morse-Baldock.
