State’s water quality alert in Mendocino sows confusion but no ongoing problems with town’s water

After the state issued a boil water alert for the town Tuesday, businesses and consultants responded saying that the water is safe to drink.

All businesses and residents in the town of Mendocino west of Highway 1 are advised to proactively test their water for safety.
