Accident in Brooktrails blocks Sherwood Rd., traffic backing up

UPDATE: The accident has been cleared. UPDATE 12:45 p.m. — It appear that the road might be now open, but traffic remains. WILLITS, 4/24/19 — An accident on Sherwood Rd., in Brooktrails, has temporarily closed one lane of that important thoroughfare, and traffic is backing up significantly. It appears that no one was injured at the scene of the accident, though one of the cars was carrying a newborn infant, and the baby was taken to Howard Memorial Hospital as a precaution. It appears that the accident involved a white Dodge, a Subaru and perhaps a third car that left the scene.

Willits man arrested for felony warrant (press release)

WILLITS, 11/29/16 — The following is a November 29 press release from the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office. The Mendocino Voice has not independently confirmed any of the information. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty. On Nov. 26, at about 3:09pm, MCSO deputies performed a vehicle check on the 24600 block of Sherwood Rd in Willits.
