McGuire: ‘2022 is going to be a banner year for the Great Redwood Trail’

North Coast State Sen. Mike McGuire says this will be a big year for getting work started on the Great Redwood Trail master plan, which the State Coastal Conservancy is going to be responsible for putting together over the next three to four years.

Redistricting, cannabis referendum and ‘coal train’ on Mendocino County Board of Supervisors agenda

The board will be hosting their first redistricting workshop, starting the monthly three-month process of redrawing electoral districts based on data from the 2020 Decennial Census. A resolution opposing the “coal train” is also on the agenda, as well as the possible repeal of the county’s commercial cannabis ordinance.
