UKIAH, CA., 5/16/26 — A 37-year-old Ukiah man has been sentenced to up to life in state prison for sex crimes with children, the Mendocino County District Attorney said Saturday.
Julian Taylor Lorentino was sentenced Friday to 29 years to life, prosecutors said on social media.
He was convicted of sexual penetration of a 15-year-old with a foreign object, continuous sexual abuse of an 8-year-old and an 11-year-old, and rape of an unconscious or sleeping person, prosecutors said.

Omg! Not another one. We need to reverse prop 57. We can’t rehabilitate these rapists! These young children will be living with the trauma for the rest of their lives. Death penalty needs to be resurrected.
The Federal sentencing guidelines are set by Congress. Americans are told to blame the wrong people!! So they blame judges, governors, mayors and they even blame the police for their not feeling safe!!
