UKIAH, CA., 2/22/26 — Ukiah police have launched a website that maps local crime and police activity, replacing older, slower methods such as booking logs.

The Citizen Records Information Management System, at ukiahpd.citizenrims.com/map, shows the exact addresses, dates and times of crimes in the community. Users can filter the crimes by type, location, and date.

Citizen RIMS is similar to systems being used by other police departments in the Bay Area and Humboldt County.

“This new tool helps the department share information more efficiently while keeping residents, businesses, and visitors informed,” Ukiah police said in a statement.
