MENDOCINO CO., 1/30/26 — A Covelo man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and drug-related and firearm possession offenses in connection with a shooting in November. 

Negie Tony Fallis, 45, was detained by tribal police in Covelo on a warrant issued for his arrest. The tribal officers then contacted the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office, which carried out the arrest. Fallis was booked into the Mendocino County Jail at 2:38 p.m. Wednesday.
