UKIAH, CA., 10/28/25 – A shelter-in-place order has been lifted for an area of Ukiah after a police response there Tuesday afternoon, the department said.

The Ukiah Police Department shortly before 3 p.m. sent out an alert about police activity at Willow Terrace in the 200 block of East Gobbi Street — located just west of U.S. Highway 101 — and asked people to avoid the area.

A spokesperson for the police said that a witness reported that a man had a gun and brought it into an apartment that wasn’t his. It’s still an ongoing investigation and more information will be released, the department said.
