Roy Helsing – Every Tuesday Roy Helsing performs on his digital accordion, blending hundreds of instruments to create everything from a small combo to a full philharmonic orchestra. Helsing plays an eclectic mix of Americana standards, light jazz and rock, timeless ballads from the ‘50s through the ‘80s, and an array of Italian, Latin and French tunes. Jean Rohe & Sadie Gustafson-Zook – Enjoy an evening with two touring singer-songwriters. New York’s Jean Rohe performs social justice-inspired folk and roots music. Her song “Animal” won the 2022 Kerrville New Folk songwriting contest. She’ll be joined by Indiana artist Sadie Gustafson-Zook, a frequent Rohe collaborator. Gustafson-Zook has vocal melodies similar to Joni Mitchell and balances witty lyrics with intricate guitar playing. She’s won folk competitions across the country, including Acorn Theatre’s Singer Songwriter Competition and the Kerrville Folk Festival’s New Folk Contest. 🎃 Steven Bates Band – The Willits Center for the Arts hosts its 3rd annual Halloween Gala. The night starts with dance music from Kyle Madrigal followed by a performance by roots rock sensation the Steven Bates Band. The center will transform into a spooky haunted house where guests can eat, drink and bid on silent auction items. The Lucky Losers – Winners of five Independent Blues Awards, The Lucky Losers perform a hybrid of soul, blues, gospel, rock and country with a 1960s vibe.
