Nov. 1 – Halloween Party at the Brewery with Boonfire – Join Anderson Valley Brewing Company for a night of dancing, costumes local food and live music from Boonfire. Oct. 31 – Misfit Witches Paddle – Don your witchy finery and bring your kayak or stand-up paddle board and join a Halloween paddle in Noyo Harbor. Oct. 31 – Trunk or Treat – Join the C.V. Starr Community Center for a hauntingly good time at its annual trunk or treat. You can bring your car and set it up to distribute candy, or bring costumed kids and to collect candy from stations. Enter through south Lincoln Street and exit through Willow Street. Oct. 31 – Metal in the Streets Halloween Edition – Community radio station KNYO celebrates Halloween with a live concert out front of the studio. Oct. 13 – Stone Stories – The Mendocino County Museum presents its annual Stone Stories event, which showcases a historic cemetery in the county. This year’s event will feature an afternoon of dramatized obituary readings by local volunteers, often dressed in costume based on the deceased’s era. This year includes Atta Stevenson of the Cahto Tribe who will share stories. Oct. 31 – Haunted Mendocino Walking Tour – Visit the homes, hideouts and hangouts of Mendocino’s well-known specters and learn about the town’s history along the way. Oct. 26 – Halloween Bash with Soulevity – Mendocino County’s own Soulevity hosts a Halloween bash at the pub. The band performs soulful rock mixed with jazzy funk and ska-like punk.
