WILLITS, CA., 4/10/26 — Larry Silverman, a retired TV producer, writer and director who lives in Willits, filmed the No Kings 3 protest in the town of 5,000 on Saturday, March 28, with the help of a few others. He released a video on YouTube Wednesday. Silverman said he hopes his video inspires others to attend protests.
“I hope that people see this and are inspired enough to say, ‘I’m going to go to the next one,’” Silverman said. “And it also keeps the spirits up of those who have been going regularly, because it’s a long haul for this political fight, so people can get tired of it and get frustrated, and changes aren’t happening quick enough. It keeps the morale going.”
Silverman has been doing various types of documentaries for more than 40 years, and said every situation is different. This year, it took four people, including Silverman, to make the video. Silverman also said that knowing the times for the protest helped with planning.
“We knew at what time things were going to happen. For instance, it was likely that it would be backed up with people at the intersection of Commercial and Main streets because of the light there,” Silverman said. “We knew there would be some interesting shots in that area.”

When the usual suspects spew hateful ignorance, their triggered tantrums are a sign of victory for those protesting against this fascist regime. It’s empowering for us when they expose how butt hurt they are over Americans exercising their rights. It also shows that they support pedophiles.
Their desperate attacks are one reason why our protest events get larger, each time. And, their foolish lies provide comic relief.
How arrogant can you be when you think that you deserve to go through life with no one ever saying anything you don’t agree with or like?
Ha. We all know this type of person. We have met them. They are pretty much like a barking dog in the neighborhood.
