CLOVERDALE, CA., 9/30/2026 — A small earthquake was reported near Cloverdale in northern Sonoma County on Wednesday afternoon.

The 3.0 magnitude quake was reported at 2:07 p.m. and was centered about 5 miles southeast of Cloverdale, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The USGS said the earthquake was along the Maacama Fault that lies north of Santa Rosa and extends as far north as Ukiah.
