MENDOCINO CO., 8/1/26 — The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office issued a wildfire evacuation order Saturday afternoon for the Hopland area, southeast of Ukiah.
The fire was in the area of Feliz Creek Road and U.S. Highway 101, the Sheriff’s Office said on social media.
The warning advised residents to evacuate without delay.
The Sheriff’s Office updated its alert with a wildfire evacuation warning for Saracina Vineyards west to Hewlett Sturtevant Road. It advised people to be ready to evacute at any moment.
