This lovely girl may be a little shy when meeting new people and adjusting to a new environment — but with patience and kindness, you’ll discover how special she is. Penelope could use some help building confidence, and she’s looking for a family that will give her the time and reassurance she needs to feel safe. Once she knows she can trust you, she blossoms into an affectionate companion who just wants to be by your side. Whether you’re relaxing at home or enjoying a quiet walk together, Penelope is happiest being close . Penelope was found wandering in a rural area with her puppy, so we don’t know much about her former life. What we do know is that she has an enormous capacity for love and deserves the chance to experience a life filled with security, patience, and compassion. If you’re willing to invest a little time in helping this deserving girl gain confidence, you’ll be rewarded with a loyal, loving best friend. Penelope has so much potential, and she is more than worth it. Our beautiful girl is a Cattle Dog X, about a year old, and 40 pounds.
