UKIAH, CA., 7/16/26 — A structure fire was reported Thursday morning off state Route 253 in Ukiah, according to Cal Fire.

The fire broke out around 11:45 a.m. on Robinson Creek Road. According to the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office, a Cal Fire helicopter made several 800-gallon water drops on the fire.

The Sheriff’s Office said forward progress was stopped at 12:15 p.m. and crews will remain on scene for four to five hours to finish clean up.

Robinson Creek Road was reopened at 12:50 p.m.
