Mendocino County farmers were paid to grow produce for food banks

MENDOCINO CO., 7/15/26 — The federal money that paid Mendocino County farmers to grow food for their hungry neighbors ran out at the end of May.

The Ukiah nonprofit that oversaw the program says nothing here can take its place.
