MENDOCINO CO., 2/18/26 – A Silver Alert went out Wednesday in many Northern California counties for an at-risk Mendocino County man, the California Highway Patrol announced.
George Breed, 78, was last seen around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Fort Bragg. He is believed to be driving a white 2007 Toyota Highlander with California plates 6WOD689.

Breed is white, 5 feet 6 inches tall, with gray hair and brown eyes. It is unknown what clothing he is wearing.
People should be on the lookout for Breed in Mendocino, Lake, Humboldt, Sonoma and Marin counties, according to the CHP.
Anyone who sees Breed should call 911 immediately.
