MENDOCINO CO., 1/11/25 – A man was arrested in Covelo on Wednesday on suspicion of assaulting another man with a knife, the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office said. 

At about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Round Valley Tribal Police and sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of an assault at a home on Concow Boulevard in the unincorporated community of Covelo. 

According to the Sheriff’s Office, a 52-year-old man was allegedly assaulted with a knife. He was treated at the scene and transported to a hospital for further care. 

After interviewing the victim and witnesses and investigating the scene, deputies arrested Adrian Guyette, 28, of Covelo, on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon and battery. 

Guyette was booked into the Mendocino County Jail and remains held on $100,000 bail.
