UKIAH, CA., 1/13/26 – This week’s Featured Pet is Yogi, available for adoption through the Ukiah Animal Shelter.
“Hi there! I’m Yogi, a 1-year-old chocolate lab mix with a big heart, fast feet, and an even bigger love for people. If you’re looking for a dog who believes everyone is a friend he just hasn’t met, congratulations, you found me! I’m very active (think “personal trainer with a tail”) and absolutely obsessed with toys. Balls? Yes. Tug toys? Definitely. Random squeaky thing I found five seconds ago? My new favorite. I’d thrive with an active family who enjoys walks, playtime, adventures, or just laughing while I zoom around the yard like I’ve had three espressos. I’m still young and will need basic training, but I’m smart, eager, and ready to learn. Especially if snacks are involved. With a little guidance and consistency, I’ll be an amazing companion. If your home has love, energy, and time for a friendly, fun-loving goofball, I might just be the one! I currently weigh in at a delightful 68 pounds.”
