MENDOCINO CO., 12/15/25 – Christmas is Thursday, Dec. 25. While some folks enjoy preparing a grand, family-style supper, others prefer to let others do the cooking –– or perhaps they don’t celebrate Christmas.
For those who won’t be eating at home, here’s a list of restaurants open on Christmas in Mendocino County.
We’ll update this list as new opportunities arise. Please call before heading out to make sure restaurant offerings or hours have not changed.

Elk
Sibo Restaurant at Elk Cove Inn – French-trained chef Victor Passalacqua will serve a family-style menu that has become a coastal tradition for his foodie fans: a Cuban Christmas supper. He’s serving a whole pig roasted in a Caja China (a Cuban roasting box), rice and black beans, tomato and onion salad, yuca con mojo (marinated yucca root with garlic, onion, spices, lime and olive oil), coleslaw, carrots and raisin salad and tiramisu for dessert. $80 per person plus tax, one seating at 5:30, reservations required, 6300 S. Fort Bragg
Asian Fusion – Locals flock to this beloved spot serving flavorful Thai and Laos cuisine and Christmas Day is no exception. Asian Fusion is open for dine-in and takeout. 11:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m., 301 N. Main St., Fort Bragg, (707) 200-4744, asianfusionsv.com.
Cucina Verona – Fort Bragg’s family-owned Italian fine-dining restaurant will be open Christmas Day with seasonal specials alongside its regular menu. Offerings include turkey porchetta, halibut baked in kelp with mussels, Moroccan lamb shank and vegetarian baked brie and vegetable pie. Denny’s – Diners can dine-in or take out classics like chicken fried steak and burgers and fries or opt for one of Denny’s holiday specials like turkey with all the fixings or a cinnamon apple crisp pancake. HarborView Bistro & Bar – Enjoy a five-course seasonal Christmas meal prepared by Chef Jason Johnson as the sun sets over Noyo Harbor. KW Saltwater Grill – Chef-owner Kristy Wilson offers a decadent three-course Christmas menu highlighting locally sourced seafood and premium beef. Starters include oysters Rockefeller or lobster scallop chowder, followed by entrées such as ribeye, black cod and pork loin, with optional crab add-ons. Little River
5200 Lounge at the Heritage House Resort & Spa – The cozy, cool Heritage House will serve a festive menu prepared by executive chef Fabrice Dubuc, with starters such as scallops, Maine lobster bisque and baby beet salad. Entrées include prime rib, Alaskan halibut and gnocchi with butternut squash. Chocolate-centric desserts and a kid’s menu will also be available. Little River Inn Restaurant – The historic Little River Inn will offer an à la carte Christmas menu featuring seasonal salads, soups and American Wagyu carpaccio. Entrées include Roundman’s dry-aged prime rib, local whole rock cod and a vegan, locally foraged mushroom risotto. Mendocino

The Ravens at the Stanford Inn – The Ravens will serve a plant-based, organic five-course meal. Redwood Valley
Angelina’s Grill – The Coyote Valley Casino’s signature restaurant will serve a special Christmas meal of tri tip, roasted veggies, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing and a dinner roll for $14. It’s regular menu will also be available. Ukiah
