MENDOCINO CO., 12/2/25 – Applications are now being accepted for the Community Foundation of Mendocino County’s scholarship program.

Funded by the foundation’s many donors, the scholarship program supports high schoolers across the county. Last year, the foundation awarded $502,850 in scholarships to 153 students — the highest number ever.

This cycle, the foundation is offering more than 50 scholarships, including vocational, two-year, four-year and graduate degree opportunities.

Some scholarships are specific to regions; others are countywide. There are also scholarships that are specific to a field of study, such as music and law enforcement, and others for specific populations of focus, like first-generation college students or Native American students.

Applications are being accepted now through March 1. More information can be found at https://communityfound.org/grants-scholarships/scholarships/scholarship-programs/.
