MENDOCINO CO., 12/3/25 – A free mobile household hazardous waste collection will take place Thursday and Friday in Mendocino. 

Redwood Waste Solutions will collect items for proper disposal, including pesticides, paints, solvents, thinners, batteries, medical waste and materials containing asbestos. 

Items can be brought to the Caspar Transfer Station, 14000 Prairie Way in Mendocino, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 4, and Friday, Dec. 5.
