UKIAH, CA., 11/26/25 – A favorite holiday tradition returns Monday when Ukiah on Ice opens.

The city’s outdoor ice-skating rink will be open daily through Jan. 11, including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

Skating fees are $15 per person, with an optional four-punch pass available for $40. Concession stands will offer hot chocolate, sandwiches and cotton candy.

Located at Alex Thomas Plaza, the annual event dates back more than a decade, when the city launched it as a family-friendly attraction to draw visitors to downtown Ukiah.

  1. Please outlaw fun so my kids will grow up knowing that they are doomed if they ice skate! No wonder everyone has anxiety with the doomsayers all around is. Merry Christmas.
