MENDOCINO CO., 10/29/25 – Work to replace the Elk Creek Bridge south of Elk is nearing completion, Caltrans announced Wednesday. 

Construction on the new bridge began in August 2024. A temporary bridge carried drivers over the creek starting in September 2024, but it has since been removed, and traffic is now flowing across the newly installed structure.
