UPDATE, 4:25 p.m., 6/20/25 – PG&E reports that power has been restored as of 3:36 p.m. Friday.
MENDOCINO CO., 6/20/25 – A PG&E power outage is impacting over 1,000 customers along the southwestern Mendocino Coast on Friday afternoon, according to the utility’s live outage map.
Impacted areas include Gallaway/Schooners Gulf, Anchor Bay and parts of northern Gualala.
According to PG&E, the outage was first reported at 1:08 p.m. Friday. It is impacting 1,008 customers. The outage was not planned.
Power is expected to be restored by 11 p.m.

So what happened to the scheduled outage from 8 to 4:30 on June 23rd. East valley Willits had letters from previous telling us it would be out?
No notice whatever that it wasn’t going to happen. Lots of people prepared for a day without power. Garages and gates opened, people on medical equipment taking precautions and nothing from pge! Rude and irresponsible.
