MENDOCINO CO., 5/31/25 — The Flynn Creek Circus is bringing a new production, inspired by a wolf and Nordic legend, to the big top tent in Mendocino’s Friendship Park, from June 28 through July 6. “The Bridge,” narrated by the silly Goat and his stubborn Shadow, is a modern-day fairy tale complete with acrobats, comedy and myth.
Follow an irreverent journey as the Goat and the Shadow, the troubled Troll, the empty-headed Emperor and the Red Countess encounter the realm of the wolf. Marvel at the skill of the Ferryman and the Star. Sit back and enjoy the visual imagery and masterful showmanship of a Flynn Creek Circus production.
The animal-free entertainment will include family-friendly showings, an interactive children’s camp program, and the ever popular “Adults Only Show” with outrageous acts and dark comedy.
The tent opens 30 minutes before each show, with beer, wine and light concessions available for purchase. The two-hour production will include a 15-minute intermission.
The 2025 season includes an opening show in Petaluma before the Mendocino stop. After leaving Mendocino, the circus will move to Sausalito, Rohnert Park and other Northern California and Oregon locations, ending in Capitola over the holidays.
Tickets are available for purchase online at flyyncreekcircus.com. Individual tickets start at $23, with table reservation options starting at $81 for two attendees. Book early to secure your spot.
