MENDOCINO CO., 5/15/25 — The California Highway Patrol has issued a Feather Alert for a missing Mendocino County woman.
Sarah Brandal, 32, was last seen around noon on Dec. 25, 2024, by Stanfield and Rainer roads in Woodburn, Oregon.
On Thursday, the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office contacted the CHP to create a Feather Alert for Brandal. A Feather Alert is a resource available to law enforcement agencies investigating the suspicious or unexplainable disappearance of an Indigenous person, CHP said.
Brandal is 5 feet 7 inches tall, 145 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She is believed to be on foot.
Anyone who sees Brandal is urged to call 911.
Missing for over 5 months and now its in the news. Seriously, do better. Thats ridiculous.

Does anyone know where she is now
So I can’t seem to find an officer Frank on the Fort Bragg police force. I did find a video of Sarah on the beach with her father that he posted June 17. But as of October 15 2025 she is still considered a missing person. Miss Brandal and I dated a few years back so I am very concerned about her. I live in Nebraska. I find it odd that no one, not even her family reported her missing for 5 months. She went missing only a couple blocks from her parents home. If anyone could verify that she has been found i would be forever grateful.
In regards to Jesse Compton. My sister did not date him. Rather she escaped him. For the ones that need to know her details of her experience with Jesse Compton that will be the police. For the general public, all I can say is to STAY AWAY AND HAVE PROTECTION. If she is missing at any capacity he would be a top suspect.
