FORT BRAGG, CA., 5/2/25 – This week’s Coast Featured Pet is Callie, an eight-month-old mixed-breed dog available for adoption at the Mendocino Coast Humane Society.

Our dog team is still getting to know Callie, who came to us when her owner was no longer able to care for her. Staff say she’s very sweet and extremely high energy, including trying to bounce her way out of the yard!
She’s been okay with some of our male dogs on play dates. Callie needs leash training and is usually so excited to see people that she forgets her manners, but is eager to learn and ready for life with a new adventure partner.
Callie’s $100 adoption fee includes her spay, microchip, core vaccines, and current flea control. Come to the shelter to meet your new friend today!
