MENDOCINO CO., 5/6/25 – Forward progress has been stopped on the Ridge Fire burning southeast of Willits in Mendocino County on Tuesday, Cal Fire said.  

The fire was reported at 2:10 p.m. near Ridgewood and Mariposa Creek roads and has burned an estimated 5 acres, Cal Fire reports.  

Fire crews will remain on the scene for another three hours to complete containment of the fire.
