MENDOCINO CO., 4/29/25 — The Mendocino Coast Humane Society’s biggest fundraiser of the year brings eight Mendocino County wineries together to pour rose wines—think pink! All proceeds for the Saturday evening bash benefit the coast’s continuing mission to provide services to coast animals, pets, and owners.
Last year, MCHS logged over 4,000 volunteer hours, supported 334 cat adoptions, 170 dog adoptions, 1,138 spay/neuter surgeries, returned 99 lost dogs and 15 cats to their owners and performed 600 wellness exams.
In addition to the complimentary wine pours, the fundraiser includes cocktails, food, DJs spinning well into the night, live music from BeetRoots and MendoDisco, and what the Humane Society promises to be “an epic dance party.”
There will also be silent and live auctions (the live auction, at 7:30 p.m., features new Willits Mayor Tom Allman calling the shots). Auction items include VIP wine tastings and tours, restaurant gift certificates, dog grooming, resort stays, and much more.
“This event is a fantastic opportunity for our community to come together in our most festive outfits while making a real difference in the lives of the animals we serve,” Judy Martin, executive director of the MCHS, said,
The Pink Party takes place on Saturday, May 3, at Crown Hall, 45285 Ukiah St., Mendocino. The event starts at 5 p.m. with VIP admission and general admission at 6:30 and goes until the wee hours. Tickets are available for purchase online at https://ticketstripe.com/MCHS-PINKPARTY-2025 or at the door. For more information, contact MCHS at (707) 964-7729.
